Support the 10 Year Anniversary of the Chicago GSA Prom!

Chicago GSA Prom was founded in 2011 by Noa Padowitz, a CPS social worker, and AJ Wieselman, a Chicago Public Schools teacher who, after chaperoning a CPS high school prom, wanted to offer a dance where CPS's LGBTQ+ students and their friends had a safe, welcoming place to celebrate high school prom.

Chicago GSA Prom welcomes all students in grades 9-12, with or without dates, for a spectacular night of fun! The Prom is held at a different school each year and features a full catered dinner, an MC, a DJ, a drag performer, and professional photography with images provided to attendees free of charge. No students are turned away from the dance due to an inability to afford a ticket and all dance tickets are subsidized through donations.
